Man Says Prominent Democratic Donor Ed Buck Gave Him Drugs In Exclusive Radio Interview

Inglewood, CA - A 27-year-old man who says he met Ed Buck, the prominent Democratic donor at the center of the scandal involving the death of a Black gay man, on the gay dating website Adam4Adam made his first broadcast media appearance Thursday to share his story. Using the pseudonym “Brandon,” Brandon detailed his relationship with Ed Buck who he says offered to pay him money if he’d let inject him with crystal meth.  The exclusive interview took place on the award-winning African-American focused public affairs show “Front Page with Dominique DiPrima” on KJLH-FM in Los Angeles.  In addition to Brandon, other guests included Gemmel Moore’s mother LaTisha Nixon and journalist and producer Jasmyne Cannick who has been following and reporting on the story.

Gemmel Moore was found dead of a crystal meth overdose Buck’s home on July 27. His death was immediately classified as an accidental methamphetamine overdose by the coroner, but now the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department’s homicide bureau is taking a closer look after his personal journal was published and other young men have stepped forward recounting similar stories about a man who they say has a Tuskegee Experiment like fetish which includes shooting drugs into young Black men that he picks up off the street or via dating hookup websites.
